i really need to no ..... if you cant explain it could you give me a site adress that explains it to you simply ?? cos i dont get it at all , its bass tabs remember :D

its pretty simple really... each line represents a string on the instrument, the one on the bottom being the E string, the one of the top being the G string. Each number that appears on the line represents a fret number. For instance:


G-----------0-
D-------------
A-------3-----
E---2---------

if you were to see a tab like that, you'd first play the E string and fret the 2nd fret, then play the A string and fret the 3rd fret, and then play an open G string. Most tabs have key/legends towards the bottom as well... good tabs to look at are the ones for Rush basslines that you commonly find online, that have nice key/legends at the bottom and even have time/tempo designations. I'm sure you'll figure it out.
