Here's another Floyd poll (I'm really on a roll). I think they did it, does that give them more credit?

Sorry about the cheap rhymes, I'm in one of my moods, its kinda the times.

For anyone who doesn't know, it has been speculated that Echoes can be played simultaneously with the Jupiter and Beyond section of 2001, a space odyssey, Stanley Kubricks masterpiece. For the record, Dark Side supposedly goes along with The wizard of Oz and the beginning of 2001 can actually be linked up with Wish you were here.

Discuss.

It's the same guy. Great minds think alike.

yeah. I mentioned this on another thread. I've actually tried all three of these but both Gilmour and Waters have denied that any of their music was written with these intentions.

well, I think it is obvious that this is more than a mere coincidence. if perhaps one managed to fit the movie, it would be plausable, but since there are three instances, one can only conclude that it was intentional.

Yeah, and don't forget all the backwards messages to worship Satan!

A load of hooey!

"And, has thou slain the Jabberwock?
Come to my arms, my beamish boy!
O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!'
He chortled in his joy.

I'll swear that Brain Salad Surgery synchronises perfectly with Carry On Up The Khyber.

I have tried the 2001 and Echoes, and in the main it does sync up quite nicely - still keeping an open mind, however
