October 13th was a truly memorable night.
not only seeing Dream Theater but Symphony X.

Symphony X kicked things off, definitely got the crowd going for DT. The Sound Was a bit off for Russels Vocals though! and only 45 mins to 1hour isn't long enough for a band like Symphony X .

DT Next, now they played a gig and a half. 1st time i'd seen them live and boy am i impressed. Sounds So much better than on the cd's. Great Mixture of Old and New songs. From As I Am to Dark Eternal Night.

Pure Genius.

Standing was Pretty Much full, but they had closed off part of the seating bit so that was only about half to 3/4s full.

I was there as well, was brilliant but i'd want to see Symphony X on a different night on its own. Dream Theater should have had the full 2.45 hour set like they normally do.

The acoustics are brilliant in that building, ok I haven’t been to many place but it was loads better than Earls Court and talking to other people they says its better than most places.

i was at that gig too, i was impressed by the way the support band did a good warm up job on the crowd, and DT's set up sounded great even in Wembley Arena which gets a lot of criticism for its sound quality - well it was originally a swimming pool!
the graphics with the ants were funny (two of the little blighters were sitting on the stage) , the set was pacey and entertaining, and allowed each band member to show off but i'd hoped  John Myung would do a solo. great night! Clap

I did the same but that was in Rotterdam (October 9th). SX played Domination and The Odyssey so that was really nice.
DT finished the job excellently with Dark Eternal night as absolute highlight.
