Rosetta is a pretty well known (in the scene) post-metal band in the vein of Isis and Neurosis, even with Aaron Turner of Isis doing their album cover of their debut.
Anyone else know them?

This band blows my mind.
Yes, they're typical post-metal, but they do it sooo well! Plenty of reverb worship, and their lyrics are based mostly on Arthur C. Clarke's Space Odyssey series.
Awesome band! I'm pretty sure they're up for inclusion soon, I've discussed them with both the post-rock and prog-metal teams.

So far I've heard their split album with Balboa and they seem like an easy fit here amongst the other post-metal bands.

Ok, now that this has gone somewhere, would you be interesting in writing a short bio for the band page (you'll get credited at the bottom of the bio as the writer)? This will speed up the addition.

Rosetta, hailing from Philadelphia, was formed in 2003 with Michael Armine on vocals and samples, David Grossman on bass, Bruce McMurtrie, Jr., on drums, and J. Matthew Weed on guitar and violin. Rosetta, with their 2005 double debut, "The Galilean Satelites", are pushing the boundaries of music by combining gleaming ambience with crunching sludge riffs for a truly unique way of creating post-metal. They have cited Neurosis and Isis as a main influence. Their second studio album is due out October 7, 2007.
DISCOGRAPHY:
The Galilean Satelites, 2004
Project Mercury, 2007 (split with Balboa)
Wake/Lift, 2007
I know it's not terribly detailed, just feel free to modify :).

Hmph...I'm just wondering, do you include their split album on their discography? It isn't listen on All Music Guide, either, for some reason.
