Hi, I want to introduce you Anachronos, an instrumental prog metal band from Chile.  Anachronos is a band that mixes different trends as the metal, the clasic genre,  progressive rock and music from south america cultures. Its musical style have continuous environments, doing emphasis in conceptual development of  phrases and changes of beat. 
Now, the band is planning the work in study to start the recording of its first album in the next months.

Sorry but I couldn't listen to ANACHRONOS tracks... The "Archivos MP3" re-directed me to another band called Vanna. Confused

Hey, I just listened to the samples you guys have up on myspace.  Very good music, you guys work so well together.  I did notice the songs shared some similar themes, but both went different places with them. I look forward to hearing more.

I'm glad you like it.  Thanks for your comments...it means that you did listen carefully.  You right about the shared themes in those songs...I think is due to they were composed almost at the same time in early times of the band.  New songs are quite more "metalized", but our sound is recognizable...that classic latin american piano sound as a second voice for guitar phrases.  We just finish to mix another track (not a new song) to upload on the net, and very soon...this year for sure...the first album will be release.

Hi again aurbina - that's great that your album will be released this year!  I know what you m ean about early compositions... when I go back through the earliest stuff I wrote, I realized a lot of it sounded similar.   Actually, your use of piano (and guitar, too) with those quick runs reminded me of Bach.
