It's confirmed on the official website but I am still taking it all with a grain of salt.
I posted some supposedly leaked album art in another thread.

1,825 days.
That is how many days there are in 5 years, the length of time since Lateralus came out.

It's fun to play the guessing game, isnt it? I agree... I'll believe all this when that record is in my hand. in fact, I probably wont believe it until i have opened the package to make sure there is actually a CD inside, and I have put that CD into the player to make sure it actually has music on it, and that the music was actually made by tool. Then , and only then will I believe anything.

As many of the ardent and over-zealous Tool fans are prone to do (self included); allegedly I've read that Adam Jones himself on his myspace has claimed the above album cover to be ersatz, a mock-up, indeed fake. I think it looks pretty good though...and very similar to the style of Radiohead's Kid A, and the artist Joshua Davis who they're working with.
Also, chances are those are the legit album and track titles - which have officially grown on me -, but heed my words when I say that this year's April Fool's prank will be that they've been joking with us the entire time.
That is all.

I will believe Tool when I go to BestBuy and purchase the new album on May 2nd! They really screwed with their fans last time when Lateralus was about to come out, so I would expect the same thing coming from Tool. Some of the song titles are questionable but I will not judge until I hear 10,000 Days. It will be on store shelves in about 45 days!!

American involvement was from 64-75, I didn't know the entire war was really that long. That's like 30 years!

Damn, I need to buy this bitch on vinyl. Maybe on CD as
well. I should at least buy it on vinyl before the price
skyrockets like it did with Lateralus (I've seen two copies local for
$80 ).
