I liked Pink Floyd and Rush since I was 14 (two years ago), but I didn't actually find out about the genre of progressive rock until I was 15.  I seriously started getting into Prog like around the time I turned 16 (August of '05)

Yeah, I'm still pretty knew to the genre.

Technically I've listened to prog all my life as my dad is a huge Yes addict, but I was around 12 or 13 when I got into the rest of the stuff...Pink Floyd, Rush, Jethro Tull, Genesis, etc.

thick as a brick, and I was 13. The idea of a 40 minute long long song enthralled me, so I checked it out.

I was 10.

First my dad played me The Best of Vangelis, then The Friends of Mr. Cairo.

My first full blown prog album, though, was Yessongs.
