In the latter 70's Spain had the richest Symphonic
Progressive Rock movement on the European
continent. Some of my favorites from the mid to late
70's were:

Atila - Intercion and Reveire
Gualberto - Vericuetos
Canarios - Ciclos
Granada - Espana anos '75
-all mostly instrumental

Anybody interested in the Spanish Progressive
Scene?

From these bands from Spain, I just know Canarios and Mezquita.
But I know some argentine bands that I like a lot:
Bubu / Mia / Crucis / Espiritu / Pablo "El Enterrador" / La Máquina de Hacer Pájaros, and the chileans: Akinetón Retard and Los Jaivas. Very good castilian progressive!!

Just starting to check it out. The last few months I bought Triana "Se De Un Lugar", a double best of cd + dvd. Prog with flamenco Very good! And I just bought Crack - "Si Todo Hiciera track" , more traditional prog, but a killer album! And I bought the sampler Rock Andalus. Haven't had the time to listen to it yet.

I get the impression that Spain is another gold mine for prog.
