I voted "love them both" ... probably TFK are slightly better, but only on an song per song basis. As bands, they're both awesome.

I prefer TFK. But both bands have a problem to me: The f*ckin bad vocals. You know, Peter Gabriel is OK, Fish is dreadful, but Roine Stolt shouldn't sing. He's a great musician, and if the band didn't have any vocals, it would be as good as Anglagard (EASILY the best Symphonic Prog Band EVER). Spock's Beard is the same thing, but the vocals are less irritating, meanwhile the band wouldn't be as good as TFK would if instrumental. Damn, these guys really should get good vocalists.
And above all, is punk

Where's the "Transatlantic crushes both into dust" option? LOL

I chose BOTH because I enjoy both of their bands and styles, even though I have only recently dived into exploring their music, I have enjoyed what I have listened to!
