Phantasmagoria is going to walk this...

Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

I actually think Sky 3 is a pretty decent album and I really enjoyed it in my teens, but it was downhill from there, besides FM left after Sky 2, severing the connection between the two outfits?

Phantasmagoria is pretty much perfect to me. Don't really care to find out about the rest I'm afraid (I've checked out Wolf and Monkman decades ago though).

I only know Phantasmagoria from the list, and I don't expect that I would like anything else here nearly as much.

Sky 3 is by far not as good as Sky 1 and 2, Phantasmagoria also for me.

Sky 3 was given to me as a birthday present by my sister and I still have the original vinyl. Massive let down after the brilliant and expansive Sky 2. The only Curved Air album I like all that much is 1973's Air Cut with Eddie Jobson. The other albums on the list I don't know. No Vote.

I agree about Sky3 being a let down - no-one could replace the genius of Monkman.
Voted for Phantasmagoria. |

I thought Sky 3 was fresh and didn't try to copy the previous works. It's more jazzy. After that, well, I'm in agreement with everyone.
The Curved Air with Eddy Jobson has "Metamorphosis", which to me is a defining epic of the prog era Edited by kenethlevine - December 19 2024 at 17:40 |
