Prog Italia 1980

Probably because it didn't show up on PA's list of 1980 Italian prog albums. 

Anyway, thanks for giving Goblin a well-deserved mention.

Goblin would've been my second choice - after Antonius Rex - if they'd been in the poll.

It's not as easy an album as the self-titled, nor have I returned to it nearly so much -- it has gone in a more avant and Henry Cowish direction -- but I found this album very rewarding. The going on 16 minute track, "Mettiamo il caso" was one track I loved from first listen (warmer, builds, melodic), and back in the mid 2000s I was quite obsessed with the song. Like Henry Cow's Western Culture, it's one of those albums that took quite along time to open up and reveal itself to me where I could appreciate all of it.
