The Italian experimental band Zio Crocifisso (English: Uncle Crucifix) consists of Paolo "SKE" Botta (keyboards), Dario Magri (drums), Fabio Malizia (bass), and Matteo Serenelli (guitar). Their debut album, "Campagna di Legno" (English: "Wooden Campaign"), was recorded at Alari Park Studios in Milan and released online on April 6, 2024. The album was created using eclectic approaches; avant-garde, math, and prog-rock are the creative areas in which their music develops. Rather than trying to find commonalities, the band combined their fresh ideas and came up with some expectantly unique and enthralling answers. They draw inspiration from bands like PoiL, Zu, Melvins, Sleepytime Gorilla Museum, Tool, and King Crimson.
