I was going to stop a couple of polls ago, but especially for certain periods, I feel like I have barely scratched my interests and every time I made one of these I would be wanting to choose different music. And there are monsters of track left that I want to cover that I left off. To me the joy is in returning to music to make the playlists and playing the playlists. The idea of this series is that I don't choose more than track per release for the polls, and I represent five year periods. Feel free to vote with limited knowledge. Vote for three, or more or less, choices from the options.

Here is a topic with my past choices: CLICK

Colosseum "The Valentyne Suite" (Valentyne Suite, 1969)
Earth & Fire "Song of the Marching Children" (Song of the Marching Children, 1971)
Clivage "Mixtus Orbis" (Mixtus Orbis, 1978)
Abus Dangereux "Le quatrième mouvement" (Le quatrième mouvement, 1980)
Shub-Niggurath "Incipit tragaedia" (Les morts vont vite, 1986)
Nature and Organisation "Tears for an Eastern Girl" (Beauty Reaps the Blood of Solitude, 1994)
Sigur Rós "Starálfur" (Ágætis byrjun, 1999)
Bohren & der Club of Gore "Skeletal Remains" (Black Earth, 2002)
Kate Bush "A Coral Room" (Aerial, 2005)
Kayo Dot "The Mortality of Doves" (Coffins on Io, 2014)
King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard "Melting" (Flying Microtonal Banana, 2017)
Kosmischer Läufer "Die stille Sonne" (Tiel 2) (Volume 5, 2023)

Here is a youtube playlist in case anyone wants to check out any of the music:

^ Sure hope it was not furry hentai. ;) I'm reminded of when the Mona Lisa was stolen from the Louvre, more people came to view its empty space than had been coming to view the painting. My morbid curiosity is strong to know what was redacted and that redacted signpost is likely of more interest than what was posted in a way. Anyway, I do think it's better to focus on the positive so if it was not and/or not on-topic, then better to reconsider (especially before one posts).

Thanks for the on-topic replies. While of course I like all of these, I'll give Kosmischer Läufer's a vote as I have been returning to that album and other KL a lot of late. Love KL.

It was an embarrassing cringeworthy joke about the name of one of the bands in this list. I'm glad nobody saw that before I removed it. xD

^ We both know, of course some did (not I, however). Shub-Niggurath could be very problematic when it comes to a play on words. And if they teamed up with Kate Bush, it could be Bush/Shrub Niggurath.

All good. Song of the Marching Children gets me vote here. An early euro-prog classic with excellent Mellotron work.
