We're just an Irish Heartbeat away from Sally Oldfield's albums now, and yes, she really IS Irish, despite brothers Mike and Terry being English. Smile

I'm throwing a curveball by voting for Supply Demand & Curve - the only Canterbury Scene band from Ireland. Shocked

Another vote for Supply Demand & Curve. I put the pants in the garage, the shirts on the roof, the socks in the refrigerator, the shoes down the chimney, the garden hose in the dresser, the snow shovels in the bathtub, and a bowling ball down the toilet.

that's a happy bag of lettuce

Jailbreak has Lizzy's greatest moment imo (although the definitive version is maybe on Live and Dangerous)

Down from the glen came the marching men
With their shields and their swords
To fight the fight they believed to be right
Overthrow the overlords
To the towns where there was plenty
They brought plunder, swords and flame
When they left, the town was empty
And children would never play again
From their graves I heard the fallen
Above the battle cry
By that bridge near the border
There were many more to die
Then onward over the mountain
And outward towards the sea
They had come to claim the Emerald
Without it, they could not leave

My favorite version of "Emerald" is on The Peel Sessions.
