Smells Like Teen Spirit was the most kiss ass song of the 90's, until The Smashing Pumpkins forcefully took it from them with Bullet with f**kin Butterfly Wings son. Then if you remember when Take Me Out first hit.. it was all you heard everywhere for awhile. Still has one of the coolest openings to any song imo.


So... which is the most kick ass song ever?!!

kickass can be a lot of things - loud, heavy, groovy, obnoxious, rebellious...

Thin Lizzy's double guitar slam could sometimes be a bit wimpy, but other times it could kick the proverbial buttocks as evidenced in the last half of the track in this blaster from the Mesozoic period.

But my go to kick ass songs are either oldies such as Black Sabbath - Children of the Grave, BÖC - Black Blade or some more cartoonish/extreme 1980's early 90's metal.

Anyway the Pumpkins has the strongest song of the two, but I struggle somewhat with Billy Corgans vocals. Still BWBW I guess.

I shouldn't have put "Other" lol. It's really between the two songs in the OP for most kick ass song ever.. but some 'other' good selections here none the less, especially the Tea Party one, and of course Thin Lizzy(from a fantastic album also).
