I recently made an 80 minute mix CD for my own enjoyment that I believe is a good intro to prog. I had some specific guidelines when I made mine (one song per band, try to get to as many bands beyond the big 6 as possible without getting too obscure, no 20 minute epics), but one person's guidelines need not apply to someone else's mixtape. Anyway, I'll post my tracklist below. Feel free to create and post your own Prog 101 tracklists in this thread! :)

1. Yes - Roundabout
2. Rush - The Trees
3. Genesis - Get Em Out By Friday
4. PFM - Generale
5. ELP - Karn Evil 9: 1st Impression - Part 2
6. Camel - Song Within A Song
7. Gentle Giant - Knots
8. Jethro Tull - Songs From The Woods
9. Kansas - Paradox
10. Van Der Graaf Generator - Theme One
11. Pink Floyd - Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Parts 1-5)
12. King Crimson - In The Court Of The Crimson King

Clocks in at about 78 minutes, just barely fits on one CD!
Porg for short. My love of music doesn't end with prog! Feel free to discuss all sorts of music with me. Odds are I'll give it a chance if I haven't already! :)
