You can watch it for FREE on YouTube: Planet of the Humans, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zk11vI-7czE
With a soundtrack packed with great songs from Radiohead, King Crimson, Steve Hackett, Ember Swift, Amongst Myselves, ELP, Sami Rabia, The Torquays, Culprit 1, Nigel Stanford, If These Trees Could Talk, and Jeff Gibbs. Also, it's a pretty damn powerful film. Be prepared to be forced to take off your rose-colored glasses!

Here is a rather lengthy list of people who have issues with the film:

I'll probably enjoy it. I've always been cynical about the idea that wind farms and other forms or renewable energy will save the planet. Even though I'm not that academic minded it was very obvious to me from a young age that the population explosion is what will tip the planet over the edge. Climate change is of course is very real but the likes of China and India are not going to slow down their rate of economic growth while Trump obviously has a blue collar agenda. We are all doomed anyway!

Something tells me the soundtrack isn't really why you wanted people to go see this piece of propaganda.
You could do a lot better at affirming those views than to watch a film full of strawmen, misrepresentations and erroneous, outdated information. Most of the accusations it throws at renewable energy sources only hold when you pretend that no technological developments have happened in these sectors in the past decade, and its smearing of public figures in the environmental movement such as Bill McKibben (who contrary to what the film says has never accepted a dollar in corporate donations and has spoken out against biomass energy since at least 2016) is completely unfair. Here is a point-by-point rebuttal of the entire movie, here are a few condensed versions.
Population growth rates are already declining on a worldwide scale, and UN projections predict that the world's population might peak by the next century. Of course, if you think the West should contribute to the improvement of living standards, education and women's rights in the third world, that would definitely help combat overpopulation as well. But to put this in the context of climate change, in practice shifting the blame, or at least the responsibility, on the part of the world which has contributed the least to the problem (but will suffer the most severely because of it), strikes me as extremely cynical and hypocritical. I don't necessarily mean to lump you in the same category, but I can't shake off the impression that a lot of wealthy white people are eager to point to a film like this and say "them darn brown people over there just need to be breedin' less" as a means of shutting down any environmental proposal that involves even modest changes in their own ways of life.

Hi, The biggest issue, is not exactly "renewable energy", but the fact that this "renewable energy" is not working fast enough and well enough to replace what has been missing, and how the earth was raped a long time ago, and then you get someone saying that cutting down even more of the Amazon for money is great business ... such a strong European impression of the folks that invaded Brazil 500 years ago! To look for "gold". Some of the criticism, is strange, and I won't mention it ... but some of it, I think that the person commenting did not even see the film, and stopped after 10 to 15 minutes! I'll catch this as soon as I can and hopefully I won't forget ... but the real issue is, can we fight the mentality of those going for the "gold" like they did 500 years ago! In America, this is sacred and you are allowed to pilfer and rob to get there! Well, in some places they use advertising to convince you of the great enjoyment of a movie ......

This is far from a 'Great' movie. (See comments above) It's been touted as some sort of Michael Moore film but his involvement is dubious at best.

I wasn't even trying to attribute blame to anyone. I am very cynical about just everything but the world is well over populated and unless it goes into reverse pretty quick then we are all well f**ked. It is what it is regardless of where , why and for whatever reason it has happened. Yes I am pretty right wing in my thinking at times and I voted for Brexit but I don't care really about what's going on globally unless it affects me. I am extremely selfish although I do look out for my family ( Parents, Sister and her brood) . Maybe if I had children and/or a wife then I might be different but who knows!?

As has already been pointed out, the biggest recurring complaint about the film is that much of the information is dated and no longer true.
