did you know NEARfest had it's very own beer this year ? It is called "NEARfest thundering Hammond pale ale". This brew has a nice carmel flavor with a hint of chocolate malt in the finish."

At first I read that Thundering Hammond was camel flavoured.

Do 'The Stanley' otherwise I'll thrash you with some rhubarb.

Prog-chick, what a pity you cannot come Unhappy ..

Sean and John, I read about that Nearfest Thundering Hammond Pale Ale, mouthwatering but I go for Symforce Mindblowing Mellotron M400 Whitebeer 2007 Approve !
By the way, Holland is also great to live but we need a roof too and again another windy, rainy and cloudy summer Cry...

I hope you will play at least even with Symforce because you know that Arie Verstegen from The Boerderij has lost a lot of money on concerts with lesser and unknown progrock bands (After Crying 30 spectators, a shame!). He has almost stopped with promoting lesser and unknown progrock bands, I am concerned about that development so I hope your festival will be a success, all interesting ingredients are present, perhaps also Leffe and La Chouffe on draught Approve ?

John, indeed, we must make us Belgians be oroud of us with some of our brews!!

That way if those Reserve Belgs from Noord Brabant, want to they can secess from those evil domineering Northern Provinces of Nl. ShockedLOL

That's all it took us to kick them cheeseheads out of our lowlands!! WinkLOL

I am ordering my gravestone this afternoon!! The epitath: he died trying to make Belgium greater!!LOL

Sean, get that stone ordered.

Go bake in the sun, Tony, instead of making us with jealous with a post like that....

Sean Trane: I'm with you on the Reserve Belg thing, but only if you admit that Zeeuws Vlaanderen new about Hoegaarden, Palm. Sloeber, La Chouffe and Kwak long before Brabant did, which was about 600 centuries before Alkmaar found out. Smile

hey hey, haven't come to PA for some time; going through my journey of discovering new groups as well and reaching the end of my month dedicated to symphonic prog.

Erik, count me in in that Symforce After Party, I will definetely be there, put in the fridge some drinks; I'll pay for a whisky so I can drink it on the rocksBig%20smile

Miguel, I have deliberately planned the Symforce Festival After Party in the afternoon (between 1200-1700) because the next day I have to get up very early (0530 Sleepy ) for my dayshift and I have to be 'clear' because of giving medication and patients who come with their heavy troubles in the early morning so no evening party, I have to take care of myself as a 'social animal' Wink ! But I am sure we will have fun and my progrock collection is eagerly waiting to be discovered by (foreign) progheads Thumbs%20Up

I've got some bad news!!!

That  W-E is Open Monuments Day in Brussels where I first met Marie Noelle 15 years ago, and it is simply out of the question, I don't celebrate with her in Brussels. Doing the OMD WE , has become some kind of tradition, for us!!

I must sadly pass on this oneCry

But congratulations on 15 years, Sean. It's our (as in my wife and me) turn for that next year, in January...

If I had to cancel for Symforce, I have no intentions to cancel our beer duo at De Notaris tonight at 9:00!! Still up for it?

Plus we also have Carry Munter (vinyl freak collectioner and proghead )living in Akersloot (I guess you know where it is, but for others, this is the first exit souithbound from the highway) as well!
