true avant music.. .music so f**king bad.. that... it is GOOD. Well.. let me rephrase that. Not good but deifnitely Interesting and that I can dig.  Oh for sure no 'tune' benefited more from repeated listens than this one..it started from the bottom.. envision a puddle of urine and vomit.. and yet and with each one I found more to it until it cracked my top 6... but it sure wasn't going higher than that but I couldn't decide? 5 or 6? Then it came to me.. music this interesting is worth a trip to the office this week during Thirsty Thursday Liquid Lunch hour... last one  by Christian got an empty beer can tossed at me by Sean... I expect nothing less than Jordan's nearly full whiskey bottle he keeps in his filing cabinet.

any less.. and i'll be severely disappointed for the thought of it propelled this work of aural torture.. to a sate of appreciation I can really dig..

Unfortunately this is not for me. Not that I would describe it as bad, but the tone of it is somewhat new age-like. At times it also sounds like something from a movie soundtrack which is of course not a bad thing. Just not for me. I like the piano part around 3:00 though.

Well, the theme of the next poll is 

1) Latin American songs 

or 

2) Songs with influences taken from Latin American music or rhythms.

By Latin American music I mean the music of Central America and South America. So, from Mexico to Patagony or Tierra del Fuego, passing through all the states that are in the middle, including the Caribbean islands. They are all countries where Spanish is spoken, with the exception of Brazil, where Portuguese is spoken (There is also some state that was a French or Dutch colony).

In this way, I believe the topic is vast enough to allow everyone to participate. For example, if one likes reggae, he could post a Bob Marley song, but also a Police or Clash etc song contaminated with the rhythm of the reggae. I give this example because it contains three very famous artists, obviously I don't want to give any suggestions. 

Now, Latin American music is really varied: mariachi, latin rock, chicano rock, rock steady, ska, raggae, mambo, Caribbean folk, salsa and bachata, latin american folk, bossanova, beguine, rumba, samba, cha cha cha, latin jazz, lambada, tango.... and many other types of music that don't come to mind now. 

Pay attention: Dont post Spanish or Portuguese music, unless it is influenced by Latin American rhythms. For example, Gypsy Kings mostly play Spanish music, not Latin American (flamenco is Spanish music), although some of their songs make a mixture of Spanish and Latin American music. 

Everyone will judge himself: if one believes that a pop/rock song has a clear, evident contamination with Latin American music (in the sense of rhythm, composition or arrangement), he is free to post it. The important thing is that the Latin American influence is clearly evident.
