I'm afraid I have to say I never heard about Dagmar Krause. Could anybody tell me anything about her?

She originally was a member of the German band "The City Preachers", as were Jean-Jacques Kravetz, Karl-Heinz Schott, Inga Rumpf (all 3 later played in the bands Atlantis and Frumpy) and Udo Lindenberg. It should be pointed out that the City Preachers were a gospel band and not a rock band (they played anti-war songs).
Dagmar Krause also made an album with Kevin Coyne, "Babble".

And since I mentioned Inga Rumpf, I should also include a picture of her (on the cover of the Atlantis album "It's Getting Better"):

One prog reviewer described the sound of SIREN CIRCUS as "Kate Bush x 2,  on acid".

I really like their only known album (so far) "Solid poems on a ghost of a subject" (1999). Besides Kate Bush they remind me of Laurie Anderson and also a bit of a female equivalent of Peter Hammill (x 2). The album is well worth to hunt down if you have a soft spot for creative and eccentric female artists.

Thanks a lot for the information, really!
