I think my brain is damaged somehow. I keep misreading thread titles. Transvestite flute effect.

"Our house...in the middle of the street"
That's another good band, and song.
I don't know them that well, but I have a few albums from them.  I love that song though.
Yeah, I only have a compilation album from them, so i'm not that familiar with them either. Agree about 'Our House...' though. Probably their best.

The Australian lot? Haven't heard much from them either. Just their hits. What was the name of one of them? Something about a tree? I like that one.

I should? I don't know. I probably wont. Not in the near future anyway. There's so many prog and prog related albums I need to get first.

You can probably find a greatest hits album pretty cheap, but they can always be listened to on Spotify or something.  I wouldn't say that they are top priority by no means, but it is some fun 80's music to listen to in my opinion.

I'm not a big fan of compilations, but there is, as you say, always Spotify.

Are you familiar with this song from Vanessa Carlton?  It was fairly popular a few years ago and is quite poppy, but it has some good piano work and some nice strings and she is kind of nice to look at.

It basically allows you to search for albums and stream them on your computer for free.  You have to put up with some ads between songs, or you can pay a monthly fee and have it ad free.  You can also pay a fee so that you can listen to Spotify on mobile devices.  Apparently, the artists get paid for having their songs streamed but it sounds like it is a pretty piddly amount at this point.

I've not heard that Vanessa Carlton song in years. None of my girlfriends ever liked that song, but I totally did.
