I just watched the movie Priest and it seems like Christian propaganda.

The only thing I really like about Invader Zim was that it was quite WTF for Nickelodeon.
I remember thinking how dark it was, (especially in atmosphere) and was all LOL how did this get allowed on?

But once that shock was gotten over I don't remember liking the show really, was just meh. It got a little too ridiculous for me.

Everything is propaganda of something. Even if you make a movie devoid of propaganda, it is in fact propaganda for lack of propaganda. There's no way to win. Tongue

The first season was the best because Jhonen Vasquez had absolute authority over the content. After that, Nickelodeon started bringing in writing teams who would coherent plots and character development, which almost ruined it.

It was just meh, sometimes I enjoyed it sometimes I didnt.
Though I gave it kudos for its dark, brooding and avant nature for a Nick show.

Probably the embed one, I've always used adblock plus and copy the link in the filter.

Brothersport seems to be a song dedicated to Matt. (Except the "dumb daddy" part, I wouldn't know if it's true).

Just my ankles and feet really. It was even warmer then expected, I actually kind of want to die, but in a good way

I think Vasquez didn't really have a choice. Once they own the rights to the show, they can bring in someone else to make it if you make waves. Exhibit 1: The second season of the walking dead. It  was still alrite, but I was bored because so little actually happened. When you step back and look at it, they basically went farming for an entire season. And that's because Frank Darabont was shown the door and their budget was repeatedly slashed while they were given a mandate to make 80% of the scenes indoors. Ridiculous, considering the first season shattered viewership records that they would treat it like this. f**k AMC
