people tended to use the cover of an album for their avatar until lately, due to its quadratic nature. then some change in the software made it possible to use other kinds of formats for the avatar too. Friede and I stick to the tradition by using the cover of the first album our band Bald  Angels made (in a limited edition of 500, which are already sold out) as avatar. it is actually a  portrait of the two of us, with me being on the right side. here a slightly bigger version of the album cover:

Finally I change my Avatar... next saturday will be the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Alux Nahual, the best Central American rock band, so I will join the celebration... and I even used that particular guitar in the recording of the first single of my band... so... there's an emotional link with the pic... Hope you like it...

I wonder what it would be like if everyone all over ProgArchives got together.  We would have Skeletor, Satan, a kitten with headphones, a kitten in the flowers, a white fox, a girl with a gun, Hayden Panetierre, a deranged ostrich, an airplane, a cartoon drawing of one's self, a pianist in a smoky bar, Henry Plainview, a wombat, a lemming, and countless album covers all in one convenient location.Smile
