^ Thanks for posting. That was a Blast! You were Right on Time with your Brothers Johnson video, as I'm a big fan of theirs too. I haven't got around to listening to their eight albums yet, but I'm sure they'll all be Winners. It's been a bit quiet here just lately and then, Blam! - five artists come along all at once. Sadly, only one of the Johnson brothers is still with us, but their funky music will be alive and Kickin' forever.  I'll never forget Louis Johnson for his amazing performance with the George Duke Band in Japan back in 1983 with funky Out of Control bass-lines which Lit Up the Night in Tokyo and almost had Japanese fans out of their seats. Smile

Psychedelic Paul, you are sooooo sweet. Everyday Is Valentines Day with you. Don’t get caught in the rain, you’d melt. You’re cooking up some nice musical recipes in the Soul Kitchen and our connection is a permanent one with no signs of letting go anytime soon. We all need songs of love ❤️ and peace ☮️ in our lives today. There’s a good selection of them here on Prog Archives, though sometimes when the member’s disagree on which group or genre is more loved, the peace is disrupted. But it’s always short lived, because music appreciation rules! And it’s more fun to share our favorites than argue about who’s better. Look forward to another song/album name creation from yours truly, who will it be this time? No matter, they’re always great. Your number one fan, FloydianPinkRose.

My Dearest Sweetheart, Your Words of Love inspire me Day by Day and so I've been Workin' on a Groovy Thing for You this very afternoon. As you know, Last Night I Didn't Get to Sleep at All through thinking about you when it was a case of Another Day, Another Heartache, but today, the Good News is I'm Feelin' Alright and all my worries are Blowing Away like Dust in the Wind. If I Could Only Reach You, then I'd Love to spend a whole day On the Beach (In the Summertime) with you having a Stoned Soul Picnic together. There Never Was a Day when I don't think about you and There's Nothin' Like Music to keep us together. A Love Like Ours will endure  when The Worst That Could Happen is to lose our internet connection. I'll Be Lovin' You Forever and I know you'll always Leave a Little Room in your heart for me. I'm sure you won't Let Me Be Lonely again tonight. That would be as sad as A House with No Door, or a door with no bell, but at least that would be One Less Bell to AnswerTongue Heart

All songs in Red highlights by the 5th Dimension

Paul, would it be okay with you if I quote this post of yours in the thread Poetic Pieces for the Mind and Spirit ? Tongue

The girl on my right asked, DOES YOUR MOTHER KNOW the recipe? Because it smells heavenly. When he passed out samples I was like a DANCING QUEEN. Give me some, I shouted! Someone called in the SUPER TROOPER to take me to jail, but suddenly Prog Rock poured out of the loudspeakers and we all shouted THANK YOU FOR THE MUSIC! But CHIQUITA, who was ONE OF US from Alabama, began singing along to FERNANDO, one of my favorite ABBA songs. Our tummies were growling so loud it was like an SOS going out. Finally we all drew straws to see who’d be first in line to eat when the Chef, Psychedelic Paul served the delicious soul food. We knew that THE WINNER TAKES IT ALL, but I hoped he’d TAKE A CHANCE ON ME. I HAVE A DREAM, Psychedelic Paul will serve more of his great Prog music on that YouTube channel of his, which I just love. Maybe I’ll just ask him to LAY ALL HIS LOVE ON ME!! I believe he would because I’m his number one fan. Thanks Paul! Happy New Prog Year. And many happy returns from the bands we all love 💕!

Songs in ALL CAPS from ABBA the Gold Album. Psychedelic Paul is the Gold Standard of friendship! 😉👍🎼🎹🎸🥁🎹. Keep ‘Em Coming Paul, you’ve got another 364 days.

And would it be okay with you, FloydianPinkRose, if I also quote this post of yours in the thread Poetic Pieces for the Mind and Spirit ? Tongue

I have now. Smile

I can't answer for Floydian Pink Rose, but I think it would look a little odd and out of context if our two posts were reposted elsewhere, when they were only ever intended for this thread. Wink

I'll be bringing on back the Good Times here soon with Nile Rodgers and the Chic family, including:- Sister Sledge; Bernard Edwards; Luther Vandross; Norma Jean Wright; Sheila B. Devotion; Fonzi Thornton; Alfa Anderson; Sylver Logan Sharp; Ullanda McCullough; David Lasley; and Diva Gray & Oyster. Thumbs Up

I can't answer for Floydian Pink Rose, but I think it would look a little odd and out of context if our two posts were reposted elsewhere, when they were only ever intended for this thread. Wink
Okay, I understand, and in that case I won't quote FPR's post either. Smile

But Paul, I still think, you owe me some more contribution to this thread, Poetic Pieces for the Mind and Spirit , as it's much inspired by and dedicated to you. Big smile

Thanks, but I should mention that my appearances in the Just for Fun forums are about as rare as a Prog-Rock song appearing in the Top 30 singles chart. Wink

Just to be sure that you never change your mind - almost. LOL

quality over quantity, and all kind of PopcoRn almost beyond
