I'd be interested in teaching but wouldn't want to take the pay cut.

edit:  so tired I can't even write.

I'm a kick ass teacher.

There'd be some big issues to deal with though (like a broken lease)...but oh well.  I belong in the classroom.

Can't remember - where is the hometown?

Fayetteville, NC.

My wife almost swore the place off, but that's only because we lived in the crackhead part of town for the first three years of marriage (but sh*t- we paid 300 bucks a month for a friggin 2 bedroom / 1 bath home).

I'm looking at some gorgeous houses right now (for cheap and in good locations!).  Smile

Good luck!

Any family still in the area?

Almost every last one of them, both sides.

You bet.

My extended family may be a bunch of poor, redneck drunks and chain smokers, but most of them would do anything for you- they're great.

Bad thing is....if this pans out, I may be in NC for a month or two working (living with my family) while my wife is still here with my son (so we can both make money to get a good place).  Unhappy

One of the things I'm a fan of is "Clicking on 'Become a Fan'". Embarrassed

I know.

There's no "Become a Fan" button for Supaplex, growl!

Wasn't that an old computer game from the early 90s?

Yes it was. I played it I was little, and this summer I started playing it again, with many extra set of levels the make me head spin.

I have a teaching qualification... does that make me more qualified than Rob? Shocked

Oooh, North Carolina.  If I was move to the U.S., I'd move to Asheville.  Home of Warren Haynes and the Moog. Big smile  I'd love to go to one of Haynes' annual Christmas Jams too.  That'd kick arse.
