A Rite Of Passage features Labrie-related vexation, and is otherwise forgettable.

OK, less than usually forgettable and tacky AOR song, plus The Shattered Fortress, which alternates between likeability and oh dear almost impressively frequently.

Hm. All in all, not a bad album. Not exactly stunning, but there were a few good songs in there.

You have a better opinion of it than I, apparently.

'Morning, guysSmile! Just got back from a long-overdue trip to the grocery store... Haven't heard the new DT album, and I very much doubt I will - unless it is as preparation to ProgNation (Micky wants to go, I do too, but because of Queensryche). I have really tried to get into them, but now I'm afraid I've given up.

Good morning Raff.  IMO, it is really too bad that Pain of Salvation and Beardfish had to drop out of ProgNation.  Not that it is coming by here anyways, but those are the two main acts that I would have liked to see.  And of course Queensryche is doing a 1 appearance only for the DC show.

I've always loved Queensryche, even if now they are only a shadow of their former selves (I've heard mixed reviews of their latest album btw). Beardfish were at NEARfest, but I'd have liked to see them again - they are a very neat band, and lots of fun to watch. Oh, well, we'll see how it pans out with the new lineup.

Personally, I really liked the new album.  It passed the listening with the headphones on while reading the lyrics test with flying colors.

Limited edition special Tic Tac flavors suck. Limoncello? Tropical Apricola? Pinacolada? Dead

Crivoi's playing with Davydenko. Of course, every point Crivoi wins is superb, as far as the commentator's opinion is.  LOL Our worshiping of bad national players overwhelms the British people's worshiping of an actually great national player like Murray.

Gazpacho's Tick Tock is actually pretty good, even if the limited edition Tic Tacs suck. LOL

This is my first listen.  I am enjoying it.  I don't think that it is a top 100 album like it was sitting for awhile (I don't think that it is still there) but it is good at what it is.

Heh.

It so happens that, after a minute, I usually start chewing them.

Kind of like the old Tootsie Pop commercials with the owl. How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop? 3.

The green and blue spirals are the same color. Everything I have taken for granted is meaningless.

Henry, how are the blue and green spirals the same color? Whatever the effect is, it's not working on me.
