Turns out that Echo and the Bunnymen were way more to my liking when they sounded like noisy goth punk in the vein of Joy Division, just with a way spacier and less claustrophobic sound that really emphasizes the Doors/Velvet Underground-isms. I need to listen to their other early albums, then.

happy back at home after another day of adventure and danger haha.
Excellent choice darling! A great album to kick the evening off. This strangely enough has become our most played Can album. Not to say it is their best, far from it, but it seems to be growing into our favorite.
