Listen to the following albums: (at the very least)

Animal Collective - Merriweather Post Pavilion
Sufjan Stevens - Illinois
Belle and Sebastian - If You're Feeling Sinister
The Decemberists - The Crane Wife
Modest Mouse - The Moon and Antarctica
Yo La Tengo - I Can Hear the Heart Beating as One

And then get back to me on that one.

Not to mention the most classic albums/bands ever that influenced "indie": (assuming you haven't heard them)

The Smiths - The Queen Is Dead
Pixies - Doolittle
Sonic Youth - Daydream Nation

Man, Fear of a Black Planet is so god damn good. When Public Enemy were at their peak, there's really hardly any hip hop (or even music in general) that beats them.

Those two are both classic, worth at least one listen.

It is, but that's the only reason I like his voice.

Not much.  I'm moving again the weekend after next because my landlord is bipolar.  One of my friends has a basement suite available for much cheaper, anyway

Lol, bipolar. That's good though, it'll be nice to be moved into a much cheaper place.

I haven't.
I read about him in Rolling Stone, but I've not heard anything from him either.  They did say that he sounded like Peter Gabriel in the article.

I don't hear it.
