There are those that would beg to differ on Alice Cooper. A semi-recent discussion had those who were citing the shock rocker's progginess. There was even some mention regarding his latest concept album release.

No but it is a prog factor. However, I can't say anything at all regarding the music since I haven't heard it, but there were those in that thread that said there was something proggy in the works going on there.

oh sure he is.. .and that stage show... it works for prog. Until we create a sub-genre for shock rock/theatric prog. We just have to judge on the music.

School's Out... or 18.. or Under My Wheels just sort of miss the mark a little bit as to what most people think of when it comes to Progressive Rock hahha.

Yes, but you forget that I judge prog by whether or not it is in my collection, and there is quite of bit of Alice Cooper in my collection.

And with some of the suggestions that I have made, I suspect that I have probably made you nearly die in laughter more than once.

Oh, for heaven's sake, next time I'll think one hundred times before posting... I thought this poll's title and its placement were clear enough. Do you want to think Alice Cooper is prog? I think he/ and the band has a musical, as well as personal, relation to Prog, but not enough for me to suggest him for Related.
