thanks man, it's really a strange feeling...sort of like when you think about the universe being endless for a while, you can just feel the circuits flying loose in there. Next thing y'know, you're regaining consciousness in a pool of Diet Sprite haha.

The Aspartame in Diet Sprite is rumored to cause brain tumors. That might explain the bouts of unconsciousness.

Why can such a magnificent country CONSTANTLY have only 2 alternatives? Weird, man , really , really strange . So extremist! Why not a strong third option ? Pretty wobbly democracy , if you ask me. But as a foreigner, I guess I cannot complain!

I actually did complain but covered myself with my passport! . Actually, most people worldwide actually like americans (I love them personnaly) but the Politics are abysmal, I mean really very very poor. Can there not be someone smart out there , to lead the country, like, properly . Nothing wrong by being strong, protecting interests but be smart , fer cryin' out lewd!

They are abysmal. What's even more amazing is that as far as a real political/ideological spectrum is concerned, the Dems and Republicans aren't really that different - the problem is pandering to this or that group and obviously wasteful spending. Neither party wants to really address the hard problems and give an honest appraisal, but I suppose that's politics the world over. |

No need for closing. Only adding (a bit off-topic) that one fine way to have more parties covering all political spectrum is the 2nd shift or ballotage... ah, and certainly direct vote for the national elections.

Oh, no. If you want this thread closed, we're going to have to do a much better job of being nasty, hostile, and abusive to each other in our postings. But then, why bother? It's presidential election season here in the US! There will be plenty of that going around.
BTW WTF does FTW stand for? I need to know ASAP you SOB or everything's going to get all FUBAR. Edited by Slartibartfast - September 05 2008 at 08:34 |
