John Simm gets hit by a speeding T.A.R.D.I.S. and is transported back to the year 56045.

Back? Thats forward.
He could have been hit by the T.A.R.D.I.S. in 56046

You're not getting confused with Captain Jack jumping on The Tardis as it dematerialises and sending the Tardis into the far future?

He could,as a time traveller,'choose' any time he likes.i.e. he could have an intergallactic trffic accident whenever and wherever.

What I mean young fellow me lad, in next weeks episode, Jack hurls himself at the Tardis making the aforementioned Time Machine lose control and plummet forward into the futiure.

The Mysterious Stranger is Mr Saxon IMO, who in turn is The Master.
That was my theory too, until they showed a trailer/clip thing with John Simms as a politician grinning at the camera, aka Mr Saxon.

That doesn't stop the stranger being The Master though.

Maybe it's the Valeyard.  LOL  Actually, now that we're up to Doc number 10, at some point they may have to deal with this continuity nightmare.  Although that made for a hell of a climax to Trial of a Time Lord.

It seems that th1e stranger is The Master (after a converstaion with soneone in the know) But ultimately, time will tell as to who is correct.

I'm sure the stranger is The Master.  Speaking of the stranger, did anyone ever see the series The Stranger with Colin Baker?

Who are all these doctors? Doctor Who is the only one I've ever heard of.
I'm running still,
I shall until,
one day I hope that I'll arrive

I got hooked on Doctor Who about a year ago, when there was a marathon of the then new series (in the US) on Sci-Fi.  I can't wait for the new series to premiere here, although I've already seen a few of the early episodes, the new companion is great IMO.

I'm not usually into scifi kinda stuff, but for some reason I love Doctor Who, and I just wish they would show it more on standard Cable. Favorite Doctor? I'm not sure, but I think I like Eccleston least.  Baker is probably my favorite, like many others, but I also like the underrated Davison and Baker, although Peri is quite annoying. (an American using British lingoLOL, she's a bit whiny too, but the last episode with her and Davison was wonderful!, probably the best one she appeared in that I've seen so far).  David Tennant is also up there as well.

These are the 10 people who have played the Doctor in Doctor Who since 1963.  A few of the people who have played the Doctor are unofficial Doctors and so have been left off the list (e.g. Peter Cushing, Rowan Atkinson, Richard Grant).  The ten people listed are the official Doctors from the show.

David Tennant for his witty performance, while still having that dark edge.. and Eccleston wasn't bad either.. but I can't get into old Who somehow

I always liked Patrick Troughton, but David Tennant is doing a great job. This Saturday's episode was one of the best ever, especially the "timey-wimey" bit.LOL

C'mon folks, Pertwee and Baker are the definitive doctors...those were the golden years for the show, with Troughton and Hartnell a close second. Anything after that...ugh.
