Am I the only one having this strange feeling that the Argentinians will make to the final even if they play so bad???

La suerte que tienen, esos Argentinos!Ouch They keep fumbling through, always the same formula , 110 minutes of the Falklands war revisited on the pitch and then 10 seconds of Messi to win it. Pffffffff.
KudosClapClapClap to brave little Switzerland, fighting like lions all the way , almost tying it a couple of times.

Argentina, if you win playing like this, you can go to ......Evil Smile

That first round may never be replicated , thoroughly entertaining. The next stages may need some massive doses of Red Bull and Viagra to keep it up Wacko

I think Belgium will win today, but if the US can get some good luck, they can maybe go through to play Argentina.

I think there’s a very simple explanation to that: The 16 teams who made it through to the 2nd stage have a better defence than those who didn’t. In the groups they conceded a total of 46 goals, while the other 16 teams conceded 90.

Plus, of course, losing a game in the 2nd stage or later mans you’re out, so naturally they try to play more safe.

US is subject to a Belgian shooting gallery! Tim Howard looks 10 feet tall!

Great game BTW!

So many big chances and no goals? That’s pretty unbelievable.
