Should you wish to add drumming, then record it over what I've got, but also render it separately.  That way it can be mixed and what not.

dunno that he has the gear for that Shocked

do you know what his rig looks like? LOL

I'm probably the only non-rob one who has proper gear, and I don't play drums.  Oh, I think Pekka might too

Really?  I just know this wasn't Epignosis stuff.  It isn't symphonic at all.  So we'll see what becomes of it.

Stuff, lol...it's only 76 seconds.

I made that one track and Vomp mixed it with his, not sure how...

Anyway, I will make my own track, then one with it over yours...if that's what you were getting at?

Like I said, it sounds like the beginning of a song, I want to hear a song build up on your bit.

Only 76 seconds?  Rob, have you looked at the tracklistings for Ruins albums (Especially live ones)? 12/19 on the Live in Guang Zhou, China album, for example, are under two minutes. Wink

What I propose is that if you guys want to do a serious thing, then you get cracking.

You have the track I made, so record whatever you like during or after it.  In a situation like this, the main author of the piece would decide what additions remain and what additions are cut.  No hard feelings to anyone, sure.  It's just the way it goes.

The idea is to put something together that is ultimately two things:

1. Compelling

2. Memorable

In my damn opinion anyway.

We are totally serious, but lack of guitar input thus far has limited us to noise.
Yeah thats what we got. Everyone put your sh*t up.
Someone can do as they wish, if the original artist is fine with it...then cool. If not, then no go.

Memorable for sure...compelling we'll see LOL
Keep in mind this is a purely online, international effort, with low fi production....

OK, I know we have "real" guitarists but I'm recording some metal tomorrow.
It'll probably suck...but it'll be simple so we can add on maybe.

Until the good guitarists put out some stuff (no rush of course) its all we gotLOL

Yes, this started seriously so let's do it.
Everyone put up whatever sh*t you want, we'll do with it as we can.
If its no good, at least we are putting material out to start with.

I would be willing to work with RTC on a limited basis.  What I mean by that is I have many other obligations (both musically and non-musically) going on right now.  So it would only be when I had absolute free time.  Still, I could help move this project along.

This crew could put out a record in 2011.  Who knows?

And noise is okay, but you need more than that.

The problem with RTC is that, if I come up with something really good I want to use it for a couple personal projects I'm working on, and I don't want to give crap to you guys

Yes, metal is needed. At the very least some more composed music...

And everyone is welcome Rob. We all got sh*t to do, part of the problem....but if you ever have the time please do contribute whatever you can.

Once a few good pieces are made we can add to it, then move on and form songs from it.

I prefer that to our original "everyone make anything and well piece it together"

Appreciated.
Save your best stuff for yourself.

We have enough musicians and time to figure it out.
As Ben said, though we need to move not like there is a deadline here

Then don't.  That, I think, is the best idea.

This project takes the dross of everyone and spins it into gold.

yeah, I guess like Rob if I record something I don't see myself using I might toss it your way... or, if you really need, I could dub in some guitar solos once you've got some tracks that need them
