^That makes me feel warm and/or fuzzy inside.
That's really cool of the stadium or team to put together. Also I really really need to listen to full Barenaked Ladies albums sometime. And The Tea Party. I've been pleasantly surprised (for the most part) when looking into Canadian bands that I've heard on the radio forever. Especially, interestingly, ones with connections to Rush. Though that's not that surprising now that I think about it because most Canadi--most bands in a given genre or location or time period are interconnected so what am I trying to get at? But yeah.

In other news, the Lions' former home, the Pontiac Silverdome, is having a day to honor its Jihadist terrorist fans....perhaps coincidentally it happens to occur on the same day that the stadium's demolition is scheduled.

The Barenaked Ladies are a fun band to listen to.  Any album from Gordon through Maroon would be a good listen.  Their other albums are still good, but just not as good.  Any band that can work in "what's that under there? hah, I just made you say underwear" is OK in my books.

Venetian Snares is Canadian, and Devin Townsend too right?

Devin is.  I don't know Venetian Snares.  They sound Venetian to me.

Okay I had a large list of Canadian bands that you might not know but are on the radio here but I spent too much time in my music library so my phone autorefreshed the webpage when I reopened it. If you're ever interested in bands that were a couple years behind in what was popular, lemme know!

When Canada is conquered by Norway I'll know many more Canadian bands.

Are there any good drone/doom metal albums without real drums?

I wouldn't mind mating with a vaper but I'd probably rather not if I had the choice.
