Yeah, understandable. I could accept them as thrash. Stretch but not like "OMG Lamb of God is death metal!"
|
Actually, the reason they're in there is that, upon learning some of their songs on guitar, I found out how remarkably similar to thrash metal they are to play

Now that boggles my mind..... And yes SOAD was my fav band all through HS, thanks to Tony Hawk 4 I still like them, surprised after all this time and so much expansion in my musical taste. The lyrics are still great, but alot of the "anti bush" stuff feels so dated now ![LOL LOL](smileys/smiley36.gif) Though I actually like the music more than I did then!

Man, I never could decide between System of a Down, or Toxicity. If someone made me choose, Id probably go Toxicity. Oh and captain, "Groove Metal" is considered "post thrash" or basically med tempo thrash, with more groove than technicality, though its still there. ![Geek Geek](smileys/smiley23.gif) Metal Nerd! So Thrash for LoG isn't really that strange

Hey guys! I'm glad that there is so many metal fans here. As I wrote, I really like epic doom metal bands, especially While Heaven Wept. It is a great band, and even a little proggy. Here is my favourite song from them. Listen to it: it worths! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oQOTy22jLwo&feature=related Part 1 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wCSryZkRpDU Part 2
