I like the More album cover as well - very psychedelic. Has anybody seen the movie? I still need to get around to it someday.

I've seen it. It's pretty shallow in my opinion. It's about a loser who loses it and eventually just loses. It's got an original plot, but no true aim, from where I'm standing. A lot of drugs in there. |
Still sounds interesting though. Do you have a physical copy of the film or did you just watch it online? I think I'll do that, since it isn't exactly a movie you'd commonly find in stores.

Pink Floyd are just about undefeatable on the album covers front. So many great covers.
Favourite: Atom Heart Mother
Least: The Division Bell
And that Masters of Rock one is cringeworthy.

Released in 1974, I assume this is well before the days when the Floyd (or Waters) had absolute control over what was released in their name.
It really is rather awful, isn't it?

Hey matey, cow's butts are what the Welsh economy is run on
Seriously, I regard that cover as absolutely iconic. Don't ask me why, though.

It was released on EMI/Columbia when Floyd were signed to EMI/Harvest and consists of Syd Barrett era stuff - I don't think Floyd had any control over Syd era material at that time.
The really horrible bit (aside from the dayglo t-shirts and sub-Warhole colourisation) is the awful superimposing of Syd's face on David's body:

I was delivering what I perceived, doesn't mean that I actually think it's sunlight. How do you see a man in there?

Not that I'm against your perception, but I read it on the official Pink Floyd facebook page recently. However, I would rather like if it was sunlight, but yeah, it's a man.
