Jim...tell Vicky that it is our Husbandly God-Given right to have as many musical devices as possible hanging around the house LOL...no matter how much they cost WinkBesides...women have their "toys" too Wink..

If it's all the same to you, I quite like my testicles where they are, thanks

 Good one...

LOL  All things considered, I guess personal body parts ARE more important than keyboards
Wink

Besides, getting a real Mellotron would support your British economy rather than the German's.

Fantastic!!! A beautiful Snow White M400 Smile
Congratulations...

I just get goose bumps playing GForce's M-Tron through a M-Audio Keystation 49 controller, so I can only imagine what it can feel to play the real thing!

(Can't see the point of the expensive hardware digital Mellotron, though...)

All the best, J.-

There's no doubt the Memotron is extremely expensive, but it has been built specifically to withstand the rigours of touring, something the originals never were, unfortunately - they were designed to be specifically studio based & therefore frequently fell apart or failed whilst on tour.

Kinda off-topic and I hope I don't get expelled from the forum for this terrible taste question, but only a true 'tron aficionado can answer it:

Is that a Mellotron riff driving the new Madonna/Timberlake single "4 minutes to Save the World"??? Shocked

(Sorry...)
