Well, I certainly never said I didn't like Farewell To Kings.  But seriously, 2112 through Hold Your Fire could very well be some of greatest music ever recorded or at least for me anyway. Never cared for really early Rush.

No....I'm just needing that groove right now. I watched Rock Steady DVD and it kicked my ass all over again so I had to put this one. I love this band. They were so awesome.

Really enjoyed the backstage stuff too Jorge....they showed them getting ready for the show, getting the keys to Anaheim from the mayor....lots of interview stuff. Fun.

Tonight's final listening:
I have always loved Hold Your Fire, but I haven't really given a good listen to Presto and Roll The Bones in years. Don't know why exactly, but I'm going to give them a chance to grow on me.

Hold Your Fire took some time to grow on me now I love it . Presto and Roll the Bones for me are not on the same level but they have their moments of brilliance

It's interesting how we're all wired so differently. Power Windows was an album that had to grow on me and when it did, it become an absolute favorite. Hold Your Fire I loved immediately and one reason may be that I watched A Show Of Hands on VHS back in the day and I already knew a lot of their albums prior to Hold You Fire, so when they played songs from this album, which was their new album at the time, I had no idea what these songs were, but they were so damn good live. Presto and Roll The Bones were oversights initially, because I went from Hold Your Fire right into Counterparts. Anyway, these aren't bad albums, but I want to get my head around them more which why I'm revisiting them as oppose to just listening to something I already know and love with the exception of Hold Your Fire and the reason I'm listening to this is to see the progression from this abum to Presto.
