Holy moly. I haven't had that, but Sierra Nevada is usually really good and I've heard good things about that one. Let me know what you think. |
The best Sierra Nevada I've ever had- I like it even better than the wonderful Glissade.

Well, in Italy Benedictine monks make liqueurs and chocolate as well...

I've actually only had Celebration ale and Seasonal ale by Sierra Nevada. I will have to hunt down the two you mentioned.

I just bought Trois Pistoles, La Maudite, Gulden Draak and a couple of Weissebiers. Will review them later. The two Unibroue's should be very good.

Yes Unibroue's beer are almost all very good! La Maudite, La Faim du Monde, Blanche de Chambly, Trois Pistoles... Ok, I am thirsty!

This thread is turning into a monologue, but I have to say that Trois Pistoles was slightly disappointing. It had a very meaty and leathery taste that I didn't really like. Gulden Draak is also slightly overrated, but good. Probably won't buy that again. Schneider Weisse was another new one and it was good, but there's much better ones like the lovely Bräu-Weisse. Currently enjoying:

You probably didn't have a good batch of Trois Pistoles. Sometimes a good beer can taste bad when keep in a warm place for a too long period of times..

BEER!!!
Generally divided into two types
Ale
Lager
You can't beat a Belgian ale
You don't list my favorite lager - Bohemia
Ergo, my vote goes to Chimay

| Didn't exactly please me.
I prefer a more balanced brew.

I'm having one of these at the moment, they didn't have my favourite in pint size cans at the store so I got the next best Finnish beer. Strong and soft as it says on the can.
