Drinking some Leffe Blonde now... Not the very best Belgium has to offer, but a very pleasing brew nonetheless. And we found it at our local Seven Eleven  ! Micky, on the other hand, is enjoying a bottle of Newcastle Brown Ale, which I also used to make a wonderful pork and vegetable stew.

Ouch, sorry about that. Well, if you were here you could have several of these Great Northerns, because I can't drink too many of these......
Can you buy Summit down there? It's brewed here, and very good stuff.

I don't recognize the label.
This area sucks compared to my hometown because where I grew up has so many microbreweries and the even the grocery stores generally carry a better selection than those here.
Of course, pros and cons, there are great things I can buy here easily but never saw there.

I didn't even vote... just depends on my mood and don't have a favorite. So much great stuff out there to really choose one. That stuff Raff and I had in Georgetown a couple of weeks ago would get my vote though. One glass each and we were both staggering down the street On a full stomach as well...

Holy moly. I haven't had that, but Sierra Nevada is usually really good and I've heard good things about that one. Let me know what you think.
I've recently had:
Brooklyn Local 2
Rogue Dead Guy Ale
Ayinger Altbairisch Dunkel
Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout
Belhaven St.Andrews Ale
Old Rasputin Imperial Stout
Hitachino Nest Japanese Classic Ale
Chimay Blue
Those were all fantastic. The St.Andrews ale isn't quite as good as Belhaven, but still alright. Out of these I'd say Old Rasputin is my favourite.
I also had some horrible ones, namely Loki, Fumisterie and Rose La Binchoise. Fumisterie was ok, but the two other ones were horrendous. Loki is a horrible IPA and the other one is a Lambic, which isn't my favourite style anyway.

The best Sierra Nevada I've ever had- I like it even better than the wonderful Glissade.
