Ohhhhhh no...there goes Tokyo, go go Godzilla! He gets my vote, by the way. There's also Zappa's King Kong to consider, though. Going on the music, KK would win, but on the actual creatures, Godzilla won. Edited by SaltyJon - August 01 2010 at 22:11

Only if you feel that making King King several hundred feet taller and giving him electric powers is fair.
Time always wins.

The question is not "who would win in a fight" it's "which monster is better?" Obviously Godzilla is more powerful, but King Kong has personality. Plus he's a monkey and monkeys rule.

[QUOTE=Atavachron]Godzilla's my man but frankly Kong would kick his ass /QUOTE]
Srsly? Godzilla stomps through buildings like they're a house of cards. He shrugs off a small sized army while Kong gets taken down by a few measly dog fighters. They're not even in the same league.
Anyhow, Godzilla is cooler but King Kong is a better movie.

Kong's just a big hairy ape whereas Godzilla is actually a monster.
Just for fun here's Godzilla fighting a kitty. Time has not been good for Godzilla, Godzilla shrink up big time.

I did give serious consideration to that possibility.
