You were asked/told to start writing in plain English, and you didnt-what did you expect.
I'm just listening to Museo Rosenbach's "Zarathustra". Why was the production so bad on a lot of these 70's Italian Prog albums?

Whyfore go tae awl th'bovver o' makin' sic a crackin' guid disc, an' den throws it awl doon th'plug 'ole by makin' the vocals nigh-'earable??
(Wallace doan mind badly-articurlat'd English -but wiv th' Trono case dis weakness were compound'd by the toe-curlin'ly

The first Banco album is a dreadful recording, all the instruments sound thin and the vocals harsh.
Maybe they just didnt have the funds, but more likely, advanced (for the time) recording techniques weren't available in Italy at that time..
I would love remasters of the early '70s Italian prog scene.

Actually I sort of understood Wallace. His point is that by reading the types of threads that are monopolizing the first page of the main discussion... they have no substance, which is sort of scaring him since this is suppose to be a prog forum, he was expecting more in the way of prog discussion. Since theres this illusion that prog lovers are smarter than your average music listerner....
In a way I agree with him, but then he's looking for substance, but doesn't care enough to type in a manner understandable to the entire membership.
So whats worse???

Well when Wallace first got here, he typed in regular english, but always referred to himself in the 3rd person. He still does that, but now with a typed Scottish accent. So who really knows what the problem is.. maybe he's just off his meds!
