Topic: What would you rather give up. Posted: October 29 2009 at 10:51 |
Ok so, if you had to give up the luxury of one of the following " forever" which would it be.
Tv Remote or Forks
and why.
Bye bye forks, id rather eat with my hands then have to get up every 6 minutes to change the channel..

Forks. I once use my TV to watch DVD's, but there's something wrong with the power button so I need a remote to turn it on.

Remote. I don't have a TV.

You are quite a fine person, and I am very fond of you. But you are only quite a little fellow, in a wide world, after all.

Remote. I have a TV but don't use it, except occasionally for DVDs.

Forks, once you get the hang of chopsticks you can pick up anything, at least that what I used to see on some of the chopstick wrappers.

Eating spaghetti with my hands is messy. Having one my kids be the "remote" is easier.

The only natural progression from the introduction of sporks was to show that xkcd comic.

The results of the petition would suggest that given the choice, many
would prefer you to devour the remote and attempt to retrieve same with
the fork via caesarian if required. Bye Bye TV dinners.

Ah, but under this scenario you can actually use a spoon or knife for that.

Yeah, a spoon will really help hold down that Thanksgiving turkey. . .you say knives are OK, so you propose that several stand over the bird simultaneously to hold it in place? Preposterous, I say!

Seriously, what the hell made you think of starting a topic asking whether I would give up forks or TV remotes?
