And after you download it for free, maybe consider checking out Baliset at www.thesixtyone.com/gregbaliset and if you like what you hear our album is available digitally at www.baliset.net for $7.99

Two albums for $7.99

Loads of great music and supporting true independent music.

Well all proceeds from our digital sales and any gigs we get is going towards the cd production. We have a cozy $200 saved thus far with a bit more money coming in from recent digital sales soon. so we have a long way to go. when my personal finances get freed up a bit i will most likely contribute more of my own money but that has been tight as of late.

so the answer to yuor question is...as soon as humanly possible. =)

I am hoping for Fall 2009 to have them ready but if things get more successful over the summer it could be earlier.

so i encourage people to buy the Baliset download because not only does it help us print up the cds but you will get the full price of the download ($8) deducted from the cost of the cd once it is released.

I feel it is a good deal

admittedly, i feel a little bad riding the motW coattails to further my post motW/KD career but you have to start somewhere right?

ps. Kayo Dot will be touring with Secret Chiefs 3 later this month so you should all go see them when they come to your town.

Yeah, damn, I forgot how busy you were. Working 20 hours a week and only having one guitar student right now gives me way too much free time on my hands, haha. Probably an indication I should get off my ass and make some albums too since I've got so much time.
I figure you'd probably get a bit annoyed if people just emailed you all the time though, hence asking about the username at UM.

Heh, I'm not complaining. All the motW output I've heard (which isn't counting this latest) so far has been excellent anyway, so whether you feel you've been "riding the coattails" or not, I frankly couldn't give a sh*t as long as the music kicks some f**king assBig smile
Not really familar with the Secret Cheifs to be honest.
I live for the day you guys tour Australia when I actually have money, but hell, I wonder if your fanbase down here is even big enough for you guys to break even, let alone make money, on an Aussie tour.

well to be fair i always look forward to checking the gmail inbox when i get home at night and i sill fly under most people's radar and its never very full so anyone can feel free to e-mail me.

if there is anything i have noticed over the years in terms of building up a grass roots music career its that you have to make yourself available to potential fans.

i don't live like a secluded artist and am actually quite gregarious so it is the part of my Baliset work that i enjoy most (aside from writing and recording, etc.)

Ah, that's awesome.
Well I'll certainly drop you an email sometime if you can't get to here or UM regularly to comment on some stuff now and then (music related of course, unless you'd like me to comment on your hair brush or somethingTongue), ask some questions too.

Well, I'm certainly really hopeful for Kayo Dot, or motW to tour here down in Melbourne one day (I'm not actually Ukrainian, haha, sometimes I wish I was so I could go to Chernobyl cos I'm obsessed with thatt place:P)
I guess I'm off for now.
It was awesome seeing you around again (we spoke before, albeit I changed my username since the last time you were here), cheers.
