I know I'm not alone in my neo-Luddite obsession with the archaic format that is vinyl, and it only seems right that we vinylholics have a separate thread to the "What were the last 3 CDs you bought". I didn't set a restriction - because, let's face it, |

Not quite in your league Certified, but vinyl has been an obsession this year. Early Sunday mornings lurking at car boots, and only in the last month I have dared to venture onto e-bay. For the past two years new electronica from

I buy from any (and every!) shop that sells vinyl! We're lucky in Reading, in that we have at least 4 shops that sell 2nd-hand vinyl, but I also trek to Oxford (Avid Records) and London (loads to choose from!). eBay - caveat emptor - bu |

Cert, I bought "Nantucket Sleighride" at the time of its release, and there were no photos of the band or inserts. Nice gatefold sleeve by Pappalardi's wife though(who incidently later shot him! |

I just found out that the 2 photos and booklet came with a limited number of the first pressings - lucky me! However, I believe that the first UK presings were on the Pink-Rimmed, "Palmtree" Island label, whereas mine is on the Windfall label - |

It is indeed the Pink rimmed palm tree version I have, ILPS9148. Unfortunately, in my youth I decided the monochrome innner sleeve picture needed brightening up, and coloured it in! Doh! |
