You can't go wrong with the Queen/George Michael/Lisa Stansfield Superprogplex group. Have them on a double bill with Triumph and what a show !

Fire up the flux capacitor ! We're taking this Delorean through all four dimensions.

What is the future of prog ? Genesis reunion ? I'm not telling! That could upset the thyme/space continuum.

HIGH FIVE

Jesus already has a one man band though. At one of his shows he did a 20 minute tambourine solo. Those who attended said it was the greatest thing they had ever seen.

This isn't like the greatest or anything, just i'd be good sounding i think.

John Wetton - Bass/Vocals
David Gilmour - Guitar/Vocals
Steve Howe - Lead Guitar
Keith Emerson - Keys
Phil Collins - Drums/ backing vocals

Seriously think about it. it would be a killer Spacey Symphonic prog.

Well, let's see. Since it is supposed to be a supergroup, we need two drummers, so we'll have the late Pierre Moerlen and Christian Vander on drums. I definitely want some violin in there; in fact I'd like some violin duelling, so let's get Didier Lockwood and Simon House on violin. We need a few woodwinds: Didier Malherbe and the late Elton Dean on saxes (Malherbe on flute too). Some brass? The late Albert Mangelsdorff on trombone and Ian Carr on trumpet. Two keyboarders too, of course; I choose Dave Stewart and Katja Labeque (she is usually a classical piano player and plays piano duets with her sister Marielle, but she has worked in a fusion context too and even had her own fusion band). Ok, two bass players too; I choose Janik Top and Helmut Hattler. Some cello would be nice too; I choose Frank Wulff of the Frankfurter Kurorchester and Georgie Born. For a lot of extra percussion we'll throw in Trilok Gurut, Ramesh Shotam and Airto Moreira; also some tuned percussion by Mireille Bauer and Benoit Moerlen (since his brother Pierre will be confined to his seat behind the drums). I want lots of guitar, so let's get some of my favorite axemen: Roman Bunka, Tony Hill, Steve Hackett and Steve Hillage. Bunka will play oud too. And how about some sitar by Imrat Khan?
Looks as if I have all bases covered. I call that band "The Cacophonic Orchestra".

I like that line-up but for Ian Anderson; kick him out and replace him with Didier Malherbe.
