I like that...

Seems most people here want bands with tons of musicians, but I say 3-5 max is best.

Oh this is a good one my supergroup would have to be:

David Gilmour- Guitar and vocals
Jon Anderson- Vocals and percussion
Greg lake- Bass and Vocals
Patrick Moraz- Keys
Bill Bruford- Drums

I chose this line up because i believe they are musicians that would work well together simply because some of them have ha. David Gilmours jazz and rock roots would perfectly suit Brufords drumming and Greg Lake being a very well accomplished singer and bassist would play brilliantly with masters like Bruford and Gilmour. One thing that i thought hard about in this is the vocals which i think would be amazing with Anderson, Gilmour and Lake all being some of the best singers in the world!

Arguing with anonymous strangers on the internet is a sucker's game because they almost always turn out to be or seem to be self-righteous sixteen-year-olds possessing infinite amounts of free
time.

Steven Wilson - Song writing, guitars, vocals
Rick Wakeman - keys
Chris Squire - Bass
Colin Edwards - Bass
Mike Portnoy - Drums

I reckon that would be awesome because they all bring different styles. I've never seen 2 bassists in a band, but if anyone could make it work, they could. I am looking forward to the SW/MP/Mikael Akerfeldt project, if it ever gets off the ground.

BL~
