+ Keith Emerson on Steinway Grand piano, Hohner D6 clavinet,
Hammond B3 organ and Moog          synthesizers

+ Ravi Shankar on sitar

+ Eddie Jobson on electric violin

+ Ian Anderson on flute traverse

+ Jose Chipito Areas on percussion (bongo's and conga's)

= CHEMISTRY!!!!!

I like that line-up but for Ian Anderson;
kick him out and replace him with Didier Malherbe.

Keith Emerson would work horrible with Fripp IMO.

Well my idea of a supergroup, I guess they would probably be prog-metal

Clean Vocals: Bruce Dickinson

Growling Vocals: The Guy from Vader

Folkish Vocals/Instruments : The Guy from Korpiklaani

(My memory seems to be eluding me tonight)

Guitar: Jason Becker

Guitar: John Petrucci

Keyboard: Jens Johansson

Bass: John Myung

Drums: Neil Peart

Drums: Mike Portnoy

Violin: Jerry Goodman

Guy who takes the occasional solo and doesnt do much else: Yngwie Malmsteen

Concept Album writer and general MC: Daniel GLidenlow

Spiritual Director: Jerry Garcia

I guess some of them arent prog but it would still be a hell of a  metal band.

If anyone knows where I can get a copy of some Flute and Voice (Indo-Prog/Raga Rock) albums please PM me! Many thanks!

  • Vocals: David Gilmour and Richard Wright

  • Guitars: David Gilmour and Robert Fripp

  • Organ, keys: Hugh Banton, Richard Wright can play some as well

  • Drums: Bill Bruford

  • Bass: not needed, Hugh Banton will take care of it...

  • Flutes, etc: Ian Anderson (with some sax by David Jackson)

And the guy to write all their music, with some guest appearances on vocals,
guitar and keyboard will be the mighty Peter Hammill...

Lead vocals - Maynard James Keenan (Tool)

Guitar, backing vocals - Steven Wilson (Porcupine Tree)

Bass - Sean Malone (Gordian Knot)

Drums - Volodia Brice (Lord of Mushrooms, Yang)

Keyboards - Matthew Parmenter (Discipline)

Not the ultimate festival of musicianship panoply, though so as to achieve a schockingly stark image of darker ambiences lingering about the sound, most of them can relate to either somber or unnerving fashions. Neverthless, quaint, each of them. Just curious as to how they'd interact with each other.

This is why you should let Robin save the day...
