this is a Hammond B3 with extensions; for the bass pedals she does for example use sampled acoustic bass, and there's sampled piano and vibraphone in her Hammond as well. what I especially love in this video is the communication between the two players.

Well, Jon Lord might have been "the Zen archer of the Hammond organ", but my money is on Keith Emerson. I can vaguely follow what Keith was doing (yes, I know, L100 and not B3) and the man was simply a genius.

Now I want a Nord C2D. ;-)))))

Yes, you can get VST Hammond organ emulations. I've played a lot of them (with two MIDI keyboards) - nope, doesn't cut it at all. ;-)

Have a look here. £2,500. Money well spent.

Aye, Nord instruments are remarkable, and I must have one someday!

Alas, I am but a humble prog bassist who only makes clumsy chordal sounds on keyboards!! LOL

^ ^^ I have noticed over the last few years of seeing bands play live that Nord keyboards seem to have become pretty ubiquitous amongst more ‘musically serious’ groups. Pretty often as a sole keyboard, as they seem to be able to pack just about everything into one box.

Don't think I have seen anyone with a C2D, though.

Soldato of the Pan Head Mafia. We'll make you an offer you can't listen to.

I am doubtful this is a Hammond though; Hugh Banton is renowned for building his own organs
