I suppose it's not obviously 'prog' in the same way that for example,
Neu, Genesis, Yes, Till, Crimson, ELP, Dream Theatre, etc are. It's
hard as there has to be a line in the sand drawn somwhere I think.
Great sig by the way. ![]() ![]() |

u telling us what makes it prog instead of (or at the same time as) asking us why they arent would be a better method

little while back.
Hope this is of use. ![]() http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=4778 &PN=0&TPN=1&RN=1 |

metallica only have a few prog tracks. Call of ktulu, orion, To Live is to Die, One, And Justice For All, Master of Puppets. Thas about it. It could be argued that MOP and AJFA are prog metal albums but everything else is standard metal.

they wouldn't even belong here if it was a metal site. Metallica voluntarily gave up the right to be talked about as serious music-makers at about the same time U2 did. Edited by James Lee |

But as we are on the Subject I saw then in a added on a Prog Rock Website not this one of course but still odd though! NO I DONT THINK THEY ARE AN ADDITION FOR THE ARCHIVES! For me RIDE THE LIGHTNING is the Defination Album for Them! |
